Everyone Should Be Using Microsoft 365, Here Is Why

Everyone has heard of Microsoft; being one of the biggest organisations in the world and one of the first organisations to pioneer the personal computer and operating systems, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are major components of every student learning and most major organisations world-wide.

There are many benefits to Microsoft 365 that are not often talked about or are often overlooked. In this article, we will break down the top 3 reasons your organisation should be using Microsoft 365.

What is Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 is a multi-platform, multi-program software that aims to empower businesses and take the pressure out of your security, file storage, emails and customer engagements. Licences also include the use of all the programs that you know so well, like Word, Excel, Teams, OneNote, OneDrive and Outlook. But it also includes Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Forms, Microsoft Lists and so many more.

For smaller organisations there are licences that suit your business, as well as for multi-national organisations with more than 500 staff and everything in-between.

Reason 1: Easily Available

Microsoft 365 can be purchased online (although this is not recommended, and we will discuss why in a little bit) and explains the advantages of each of their options; business, enterprise and education. These all have options within themselves to choose from. However, you should really speak to a Microsoft Partner (hint: us!) before purchasing your licence, as they will be able to help with more specific questions.

It is also much cheaper to move forward with a Microsoft 365 subscription than trying to pay for all the infrastructure in house. Especially for smaller organisations who typically don’t need the storage that a multi-national requires, nor have the resources to maintain an in-house sever.

Reason 2: Easy to Maintain

One of the big advantages of Microsoft 365 is the ability to maintain the tenancy relatively painlessly with the help of a Microsoft partner (again, hint: us!). This can mean that you can get on with doing what you need to do, rather than worry about your security or file storage.

Reason 3: Access your data Anywhere

If you have a device and an internet connection, you can open, edit and view files. Whether that is through Outlook, SharePoint Online or OneNote, you can do that! Anything that is on your tenancy, you can view it. How helpful is that?
